My beautiful Avery, my oldest. She is tough as nails, sweet as sugar, the most tender-hearted person I know and more independent that I could have ever imagined. She loves playing in the dirt and playing dress-up just the same. She reminds me so much of myself as a little girl. Tonight, while taking this picture, all I could think is how fast 8 years has gone. I am going to blink and she is going to be a young woman, but tonight she is 8 and she sleeps...
What a sweet picture, and yes be very careful it does happen in a blink of an eye.
ReplyDeleteSweet sweet child. Can we freeze time? I will never forget how excited I was to be an aunt, I dreamed of how I would spoil her and how our friendship would grow. All has came true, but it's so much more joy than I could've ever imagined!
